T-SENSE is one of the few remaining factories in Taiwan that still insists on locally manufacturing tool setters and mold counters. In the marketplace, you may find other competitors, but most are simply re-branding products sourced from overseas platforms. Meanwhile, those internationally renowned European, American, and Japanese brands have also increasingly relocated their production to China in recent years, drawn by the vast supply chain and cost advantages.
As a business owner, watching Taiwan's steadily rising wages and prices, increasingly stringent labor regulations, and drastic currency fluctuations, I have asked myself countless times: "Why not set up a factory in China, where subsidies are generous and resources are concentrated?"
After eighteen years in business, we have still chosen to stay. Except for a very small number of materials not produced in Taiwan, we insist on sourcing components from local suppliers. This is more than a business decision — it is a near-obsessive commitment, because we take pride in "Made in Taiwan."
We pour our heart into every aspect of production, and as a result, we have earned the recognition of major global clients, manufacturing OEM products for top European and Japanese brands. When faced with customers who demand "Taobao-level pricing" yet insist on "top-tier specifications," we may not win the price war, but we have earned the certification of "Made in Taiwan" capability. Watching the products we build with our own hands being rebranded under international labels and then sold back to Taiwan at exorbitant markups naturally stirs mixed emotions — but what sustains us is that small measure of perseverance called a sense of pride.
That is why we established the two brands "BALLSUM" and "T-SENSE."
Derived from "the God of Job" and "the God of Abraham," these names symbolize moving forward with hope even on the most challenging paths.
